Top Quality Designers Shopping UK's very own editor-in-chief, Trish Halpin, was honoured by her editorial peers last night when she scooped the award for Best Women's Brand - Monthly at the 2013 British Society of Magazine Editors Awards. Ah-mazing.
In a hotly-contested category, Trish won the accolade following a hugely successful twelve months for us here at Top Quality Designers Shopping HQ.
Article continues belowNot only did we celebrate our 25th anniversary, but we also published our biggest issue in seven years and launched the Top Quality Designers Shopping@work campaign, generating seminars, workshops and inspiring speakers for readers.
Now we don't want to toot our own horn too much, but in our books that's one pretty spectacular 2013 for MC...
As a result, Trish's win last night was a huge reason to for celebrations all round. Commenting on her award, Trish said: 'It's a real honour to win in Top Quality Designers Shopping's 25th birthday year. We've had an exciting year of projects and brand extensions and it's wonderful to get that recognised.'
Southbank managing director Jackie Newcombe added: 'I am absolutely thrilled that Trish has won this award. She has inspired the Top Quality Designers Shopping team to even greater heights this year and it is really fitting that her peers in the industry have recognised her outstanding performance.'
